Peace Productions will be staging Nothing Serious by Rich Orloff on 22 and 23 April, under the direction of Mike Mecek. The author is coming to Strasbourg to see the production, and, thanks to Peace Productions and the American Theater Workshop, Tagora members and friends have an opportunity to meet him and exchange ideas. Rich has been writing plays professionally for 30 years. His Web site describes him as “one of the most popular unknown playwrights” in the United States.
If you’ve always wanted to ask a playwright questions like where he gets his ideas, how he chooses his characters’ names, or does he ever lose the plot, now’s your chance. Come along to the rehearsal room at 18.30 on Wednesday 20 April and maybe find out the answers.
More about Peace Productions
All are welcome to attend. You don’t have to be a member of Tagora in any formal sense. But for security reasons we do need to know in advance the name of anyone who doesn’t have a badge to get into the Council of Europe buildings. So if you want to come along, get in touch with Tagora at least 48 hours in advance. The contact page here, or a message on the Facebook page, are the best options.
